Julie is an interdisciplinary artist, designer, writer, as well as a communications consultant in the Boston Area. Much of her work involves autobiographical narratives and social issues.

Julie received her arts and design education from three primary sources: most recently the Studio for Interrelated Media (SIM) at Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt), Rhode Island School of Design Continuing Education (RISD-CE), and the School of Architecture at Carnegie Mellon University.

Means to an End
Installed at SIM Big Show 2009, Massachusetts College of Art and DesignInstallation of polymer figures, scaled dollars, glass vessel, and text prints Greed and where it gets us. Print materials include excerpts of the respective claims against Enron and Madoff.
Dongxi and Qiyue Music Projects
2012 Morton Godine Fellowship for "Dongxi Zither" proposal. "Qiyue" has been performed at several venues, including Boston Childrens Museum, the OBERON in Cambridge, and the former Enormous Room.These projects, including the popular "Qiyue" work, merge traditional Eastern sounds with Western ones, using multimedia and programming in live performance.
